Trim Climate Action was created as a social media page on both Instagram and Facebook in February 2024. The aim from the beginning was to raise awareness about local environmental issues in Trim co. Meath and to take action by communicating these problems to a wider community and fixing problems where possible.

One of the first events that was hosted by Trim Climate Action was the Trim National Spring Clean 2024 which took place on 20th April and was a huge success! Read more about this event here.

Having successfully applied for the NPWS Small Recorders Grant in 2024, “Connecting Trim to Nature” was started. This project aims to educate locals about the biodiversity Trim has to offer by demonstrating how to correctly identify species and log them to National Biodiversity Data Centre. To read more about this project take a look at this page.
Trim Climate Action is voluntarily run and if you would like to learn more or get involved please get in touch!
